I have had experience of this twice in a month. I have to admit to taking it badly. The thing is they were not arguing with my point of view but trashing my writing style.

One person came for me on Facebook saying my writing style was appalling and please don’t teach it to any of my students. When I thought about it I had to laugh. I teach Math have never taught English so I suppose the laugh was on him.

The second came for me on Medium again trashing my grammar and writing style. When I looked at his profile no picture no followers, a troll I told myself.

I blocked both of them but it still plays on my mind. I think it was the way it was put. If it has been genuine advice it would have been better than a straight attack.

I know I have to get stronger with these things but I find it really difficult. Thanks for the article.
