I personally have a different journal for everyday occurrences such as the bullet journal and thoughts crammed into my head. I even include a travel journal when I’m lucky enough to go away, which isn’t often.

I have a separate journal for my reading and all things book related. My writing of articles is carried out in a third journal. I love stationery so the more notebooks the better.

I wish I could draw though, some of the examples of bullet journals with pictures are stunning. Mine wouldn’t look anything like them.
