The Depth of the Connection Between Epstein and Prince Andrew
It is clear that Jeffrey Epstein is not someone the royal family wants to be associated with, but they are through Prince Andrew.
Epstein was an American financier who specialised in investments for the ultra-wealthy. It is unclear how he started this business or where the initial investment money came from. In 2008, he pleaded guilty to soliciting a fourteen-year-old and served thirteen months. He was arrested again in July 2019 and committed suicide a month later whilst in custody.
Epstein and Prince Andrew Meet
Prince Andrew admits to meeting Epstein in 1999 after Ghislaine Maxwell introduced them; although Andrew has stated they were not that close, they attended several functions together, including a holiday on a yacht in Thailand that Epstein paid for. Andrew has also stayed with him on several occasions in his New York apartment, Palm Beach and on his private island.
