This is a wonderful article that pretty much sums up how I feel. I have been a teacher for 20 years in the UK and I want out. Not only do I freelance to support my family, I freelance hoping someday it will open the door to me quitting teaching.

When I started I loved my job. I loved the interaction with children now the paperwork and politics has just about finished me. I work harder than I have ever worked and barely bring home enough to put food on the table.

I’m stuck being unable to do anything else and hating what I was trained to do.
