This whole subject fascinates me. I like to think it’s us skipping to alternative realities.

For me the one that gets me every time is C3PO in Star Wars. I was a massive Star Wars nerd growing up, still am to be fair. C3PO was gold all gold. Now I find out he had a silver leg, all the photos from the films show a silver leg. I am convinced they have changed it.
